Nuh II ibn Ahmad ruled from AH 366 to 387 (AD 976 to 997)

Denomination : Silver multiple dirhem. Mint : Kura Badakshan.

Reference : Mitchiner Islamic-726.

Size : 42.5 x 43.8 mm. Weight : 8.68 grams.

Grade :  VF for type.  There is some of the typical weak strike but this example is better struck than average for one of these.  These types generally did not actually circulate and most specimen, including this one, have no actual wear on them, but what looks like wear is actually weak strike.

Obverse : Arabic inscriptions.

Reverse : Arabic inscriptions.

I am unable to read the inscriptions on these.  The attribution as to type was done for me by an Islamic expert.
