: issue of Karl I, AD 1346 to 1378.

Reference : Krusy S 5,7 for the countermark.

Size : 26.2 x 26.6 mm.  Weight : 3.11 grams.

Grade
: Fine with typical weak areas.

Obverse : Crown with two lines of inscription around.  The inner ring reads KAROLVS PRIMVS.  The outer ring reads DEI GRATIA REX BOEMIE, but significant parts of the inscription are not struck up. 

Reverse : Lion rampant, with GROSSI PRAGENSES around (the last part is not struck).   The star countermark was applied to this side of the coin.
