Obverse : Crowned 1/2 length bust of Carl V, holding a globe a sceptre, with KAROLVS ROMANO I around.

Reverse : Shield of Nordlingen with 1527 above, with MONETA NOVA NORDLI around.

Both the obverse and reverse inscriptions are slightly shorter than those listed in Saurma.
