Denomination : Billon Antoninianus.

Reference : RSC 529 to 532 variety (the base of the bust is off the flan and I have not worked out what portrait type it is).

Size : 18.5 x 21.6 mm  Weight : 4.43 grams.

Grade :  VF with an attractive subdued silvery appearance.

Obverse : Radiate bust of Gallienus right, with GALLIENUS AVG around.

Reverse :  A bull standing right, with LEG X GEM VI P VI F around (parts of a few letters are off the flan).

Most of Gallienus' legionary denarii were weakly struck, often off-centre, and often from worn dies.  This particular examples is better than most.
