Denomination : Silver half penny.  Mint : London.

Date : Initial mark "cross pattee", but these are not defined to specific dates beyond the general period of this reign

Reference : Spink-1699. North 1331b (Intermediate style, but rare variety with Roman N on reverse).

Size : 13.0 x 13.3 mm (a small coin).   Weight : 0.37 grams.

Grade : gVF or better, slightly un-even toning.  Nice for one of these.

Obverse : Head of Richard II forward, with RICARD REX ANG around (all of the letters are there, but the REX is difficult to make out). The use of the short form ANG instead of ANGL is unusual).

Reverse : Long cross with three pellets between each of the arms, with CIVITAS LONDON around (using the Roman N instead of the Lonbardic N).
