Date : Light coinage of AD 1464 to 1470 with Initial mark "long cross fitches" on the obverse (used in 1469 and 1470) and "rose" on the reverse (used in 1458 to 1469) so this coin must have been struck early in 1469.

Reference : Spink-2003.

Size : 25.5 x 26.4 mm.  Weight : 3.02 grams.

Grade : gVF to aXF, nice old toning.

Obverse : Head of Edward IV forward, with EDWARD DIE GRA REX ANGL FRANC around.

Reverse : Long cross with two circles of inscriptions.  The inner circle reads CIVITAS LONDON.  The outer circle reads POSVI DEVM ADIVTORE MEVM (Latin for I HAVE MADE GOD MY HELPER).
