Elam was a Parthian vassel state in the Persian gulf region, with it's capital at Susa.   Phraates was the son of the Elymaid king Orodes.

We have a group of these available at this time, with those illustrated being very typical of the group.  There are no bad coins in this group.  The price is per coin.

Denomination : AE drachm.

Size : Average 13 to 14 mm. Weight : Average 3.50 grams.

Grade :  VF with some weakness in the strike and a little minor roughness.  Dark patination with a mix of green and brown.  Nice for the type.

: Artemis standing right, holding a bow and drawing an arrow from a quiver.
