Date : issue of AD 161 to commemorate the deification of Antoninus Pius.

Reference : Sear 5192.  RSC 155/6.  RIC (M Aurelius) 430.

Size : 18.0 x 18.5 mm.  Weight : 3.28 grams.

Grade : as struck, with lots of lustre.  Well centred and well struck (there is just one weak letter in the inscriptions, which is the 2nd N of ANTONINVS). 

Obverse : Head of Antoninus Pius right, with DIVVS ANTONINVS around.

Reverse : Eagle standing right, head left, on a garlanded altar, with CONSECRATIO around.
