This type was first issued by Bohemond V between AD 1233 and 1251 but the type may have contunued under Bohemond VI between AD 1252 and 1275.

Denomination : Silver denier.

Reference  : Malloy-Tripoli #19.  Metcalf 543-554

Size : 13.7 x 16.5 mm. Weight : 0.92 grams.

Grade : VF with weak areas

Obverse : Cross pattee with three pellets in one corner, and BAMVND' COMS around.

Reverse : Eight pointed star with annulets between the rays, with CIVITAS TRIPOL around.

Both the obverse and reverse inscriptions are somewhat fragmentary.
