Crusaders in Antioch.  Bohemond III or IV, AD 1163 to 1216.  This coin came to me attributed to B0hemond III (1163 to 1201) and as Metcalf class C, but I have not confirmed this.

Denomination : Silver denier.  Mint : Antioch.

Reference : COINS OF THE CRUSADER STATES - many varieties listed on pages 213 to 220, and I have not tried to figure out which variety this is.

Size : 17.0 x 18.1 mm.  Weight : 0.92 grams.

Grade : gVF toned.

Obverse : Knights head in chain mail left, with a star behind and a crescent in front, with BOAMVNDVS around.

Reverse : Short cross with a crescent in the upper right, all within a circle, with AMTIOCHIA around (the second letter does appear to be an M rather than the usual N).
