Denomination : AE 4. Mint : "delta" SIS (Siscia, 4th officina)
Date : pre-reform issue of AD 337 to 348.
Size : 15.0 x 16.7 mm Weight : 1.55 grams.
Reference : Sear-3971
Grade : gVF/VF
Obverse : Head of Constans right, with CONSTANS P F AVG around.
Reverse : Two victories each holding a wreath, standing facing each other, with a palm branch between them, with VICTORIAE DD AVGG Q NN around, and "delta" SIS below. The reverse inscription is all there, but weakly struck and difficult to read. I am certain the officina mark is a "delta" but it is composed to two angled lines that do not join, and there is a possibility it is intended to be a "A" for the first officina.
