Denomination : Bronze value 1000 spade (1000 Wu Shu).

Date : Wang Mang ruled between the two Han Dynasties from AD 7 to 23.  This type was introduced during his 3rd coinage reform of AD 10.  This is the only spade type of this reform that is relatively common.

Reference : Schjoth-145 to 147.  Hartill 9.29.

Size : 24.0 x 54.6 mm.  Weight : 14.40 grams.

Grade : VF, with fairly heavy green encrustations  with some large brown encrutations on the edges, and on the back.

Obverse : "TA-PU HUANG-CH'IEN".

Reverse : blank.
