Hsien-Feng ruled during the time of the Tai Ping rebellion, and the large denomination inflationary coins and paper money he issued resulted from that war.   We originally offered this example as a contemporary counterfiet because of the type of finishing file marks on it and the style of the "boo" character on the reverse.  Further research has  now confirmed that these features do occure on this issue and thus we now have no reason to believe it is not a genuine official coin.
