The Baiocasses were a Celtic tribe in the Le Bessin region of Normandy.  Their capital is now the modern city of Bayeux.

Denomination : Billon tetradrachm.

Date : These are thought to date to about 50 BC.

Reference : DLT-6978 variety.  Sear Greek 109 var.

Size : 19.2 x 20.4 mm.  Weight : 6.01 grams.

Grade : aVF with good metal and surfaces.  Fairly nice for one of these.

Obverse : Male head right.

Reverse : Horse with a chariot driver above, and a boar below.
