Denomination : Bronze trachy.  Mint : Thessalonica.

Reference : Sear-2360.  Grierson-1429 (class B).

Size : 19.7 x 21.6 mm scyphate.  Weight : 2.00 grams.

Grade :  F/VF but ragged flan (probably resulting from overstriking on an earlier issue).

Obverse : Bust of St. Demetrius forward (you can actually make out his face, which is pretty good for one these).

Reverse : Andronicus II standing forward on the left, being crowned by Christ standing on the right, with a large B between them.  The figure of Christ is weakly struck, but over all this coin is pretty good for the type.
