Obverse : Helmeted head of Cnut left with a sceptre in front, with CNUT REX AN around.

Reverse : Short voided cross with a central pellet, a broken annulet enclosing a pellet in each quadrant, with EADPOL ON LV around.  The P in the moneyer's name is a medieval form of W derived from the Anglo-Saxon runic W, so the moneyer's name is actually EADWOL.
