A superb silver tetradrachm, minted by the Carthaginians during their occupation of Sicily, issued at the Entella mint, circa 345 - 315 BC.
 
The obverse with the head of Arethusa, wearing a pearl necklace and triple drop earring, her hair bound with a wreath of grain ears, encircled by four playful dolphins.
 
The reverse with a horse prancing across the middle of the coin, a fruiting date palm in the background.
 
A magnificent coin.
