A rare silver tetradrachm from an important collection of Greek coins. Issued under Ptolemy V Epiphanes, at an unknown Phoenician mint, circa 202 - 200 BC.


The obverse with the head of the young King, wearing drapery and diadem.


The reverse with the symbol of Zeus, the eagle. The creature's talons gripping a thunderbolt and the inscription reading:


ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΠΤΟΛΕΜΑΙΟΥ
