An ancient Roman Republican silver denarius struck under the moneyer, Lucius Scribonius Libo. Minted in 62 BC at the Rome mint.

 

The obverse with a beautiful portrait of the diademed head of Bonus Eventus facing right. The legend reading:

 

LIBO BON[vs] EVENT[vs]
 

The reverse with Puteal Scribonianum (Scribonian Well located in the Roman Forum, Rome) decorated with garland and two lyres, anvil at base. The legend reading:

 

PVTEAL SCRIBON[ianvm]

 

"Putesal Scribonianvm"
