Methuen, London, 1980, published in association with British Museum Publications. Folio, blue cloth, dust jacket, slip case. 320 pages, well illustrated with 1509 illustrations of coins. Very Fine copy in Fine Slip Case. An excellent survey of history of coinage from its first days to 20th century written by experts in particular fields, mostly from British Museum and NOT the coffee table book it appears to be on the surface. One of our favorite books on numismatics.
