Obverse: IMP C M AVR SEV ALEXAND AVG. Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right.
Reverse: SALVS PVBLICA. Salus seated left, feeding from patera a serpent rising from altar.
Attractive denarius, in EF-/VF+ (very nice bust of the emperor), conserving complete details on both sides. Besides the coin looks quite better in the hand than in the photo.
RIC 178. Rome mint, AD 222. 3,1 g - 18,5 mm
