Obverse: IMP POSTVMVS AVG. Radiate and draped bust right.
Reverse: VIRTVS EQVITVM, statue of the Farnese Hercules right, with lion skin and club set on rock pile. Officina letter T in exergue.
 
Very good exemplar of this scarce issue, struck by Aureolus, a general of cavalry revolted against Gallienus, who sieged him in the city of Mediolanum (Milan) where these coins were struck.
 
EF/VF+ condition, conserving complete details in both sides and bold reliefs. Few circullated coin.
