South Arabia. Sabean kingdom. Late 4th-mid 2nd centuries BC. AR half unit (12mm, 2.47g). Imitating Athens. Helmeted head of Athena r.; Γ (mark of value) on cheek. / Owl standing r., head facing; olive spray and crescent to l.; uncertain monogram and AQE to r. cf. Munro-Hay 1.4ii for types. The apparent remains of a monogram in r. field does not match the monograms noted by Munro-Hay.
