Comments This coin type is normally classified as an anonymous Kidarite coin, following on the better style Taxila coins of Kidara that resembled the coins of Gadahara. However, the coin has the Brahmi legend Sala on the reverse, and that creates the possibility that it is an issue of the Kidarite king Salanavira, who ruled in Taxila in the 5th century.
