19 DE ENERO DE 1906 -- Veiled effigy of Argentina standing front, fading portrait of Mitre to her left, wreath in right hand, depiction of Mitre on horseback with country's coat-of-arms, trees on right. // Reverse: GLORIA TUA GLORIA MUR. -- Argentina prone grieving on Mitre's grave, various different effigies on the right rear. Bronze, About Uncirculated, 50.54 mm, 49.80 g, Edge: Stamped "BRONZE", Signed "B. ROZET" and "CHRISTOFLE PARIS". A scarce type. Very attractive low relief medal struck in France for the Argentinian President. Much nicer in had as it is difficult to photograph these low relief pieces.
