Pisidia. Antiochia. Gordian III, 238-244. Ae 33 mm. 25.1 gm. Obv: Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gordian III to right, seen from behind. Rev: CAES ANTIOCH COL / S R Hexastyle temple with shield in pediment set on base; within, statue of Mên standing facing, head to right and left foot on bucranium, holding scepter in his right hand and Nike on globe in his left, leaning left on column; at feet to left, rooster. Krzyżanowska XVIII/81, XIX/81, RPC VII.2, 2736 (5 specimens) Very Rare and perhaps the finest known. VIDEO:
