Hiranyaka dynasty

c. 3rd-4th century AD

Heavy PB coin (10.46 g)

Obverse: Horse standing right

Reverse: Six-arched hill to left and tree-in-railing to right

These heavy uninscribed coins were issued by the Hiranyakas in south-central Karnataka/ Andhra Pradesh. This dynasty were feudatories to the Ikshvakus.
