Byzantine Empire. Nicephorus Basilacius. AE Follis (10.65 gms), ca. 1078 AD. Thessalonica mint (?).

C.f. Sear-1903. Obverse: Bust of Christ facing, wearing nimbus cruciger, pallium and colobium, raising right hand in benediction, holding Gospels in left hand; Reverse: IC–XC / NI–KA. Cross set on steps, pellet at each extremity.
