This book Historical Jetons of the 17 Provinces of the Low Countries (15th-18th century) is an English translation of J.-F. Dugniolle, Le jeton historique des dix-sept provinces des Pays-Bas, 4 volumes (Bruxelles, 1876). By the description of jetons this publication tells the history of the Low Countries in chronological order from circa 1300 until 1736.

The four volumes are translated and bundled in one volume. The book lists about 5,000 jetons with a description of what is portrayed on each one. All illustrations and pictures are integrated in the text.
