| Comments |
The coins of Damajadsri II carry only three dates (S. 154-156), so his reign must have lasted only a year or two. This would account for the scarcity of his coins. This coin has a wonderful, bold portrait and an almost full legend. The style of the inscription displays the high style of the die cutter I call the master celator, for his masterful and precise carving and composition. A SUPERB example. |
