A seldom seen work due to many copies apparently being seized and destroyed as a result of Charvet’s criticisms of Rollin & Feurardent’s cataloguing of the Rousseau Collection, a sin far less tolerable in France than in the United States (Ed Frossard would have spent life in jail if his writings were published in France) |
