Ionia. Ephesus. Trajan (AD 98-117). Ae 32 mm. 22.4 gm. Obv: ΑΥ ΚΑΙ ΘЄΟΥ ΥΩ ΝЄΡΒΑ ΤΡΑΙΑΝΩ СЄ ΓЄΡΜΑ. Laureate head right. Rev: ΑΡΤЄΜΙС ЄΦЄСΙΑ. Facing statue of Artemis Ephesia, with supports; stag to left and right. RPC III 2047.1 = CNG 39, lot 934. Extremely Rare, with RPC citing just the CNG coin example. This is possibly the second known example.
