Description
HADRIAN AR silver tetradrachm. Antioch, Seleucis & Pieria, struck AD 118. Laureate and cuirassed bust right, seen from the front, slight drapery on left shoulder. Reverse - Eagle standing facing on leg and thigh of animal, head and tail left, with wings displayed. McAlee 533; RPC III 3688; Prieur 156. Scarce. 26mm, 13.5g. A terrific bust!
