Reverse: Nagari legend in 3 lines Sri Dhara-niva-raha

Dharanivaraha ruled large parts of the the Kathiawar peninsula in the early 10th century.  His capital was Vardhamanapura, modern-day Wadhwan in Saurashtra.  His royal title was Mahasamantadhipati in the Haddala copper plate grant.  He was eventually defeated by the Chalukya king Avani Varman II in 916 AD.
