Jagapala was a feudatory of the Kalachuri kings who is known from an inscription. His coins are clearly based on the coins of Gangeya Deva, particularly the silver ones such as this one:

The coins were unpublished until Cribb published some in 2003. His type 8 features two dots within the body outline of Lakshmi ... presumably they represent her breasts. Choice example of a RARE coin.
