Comments Jagapala was a feudatory of the Kalachuri kings who is known from an inscription. His coins are clearly based on the coins of Gangeya Deva, particularly the silver ones such as this one:
Gangeya Deva silver coin.
The coins were unpublished until Cribb published some in 2003. His type 7 features three dots within the body outline of Lakshmi ... presumably two represent her breasts and one her belly. Choice example of a RARE coin.
