Gadoury, France-Numismatique (Alain Poinsignon), Antika 1 and Mint State
S.A.M. Hard cover, 2024 lots on 267 pages, well illustrated with in
text illustrations, 8 additional colour plates, French text. 926 lots of
ancient coins with a very good section of 520 Greek coins from Italy to
the East. Highlight of this Greek section is large number of close to
100 pieces of stephanophori from Kyme, Myrina, Herakleia ad Latmum,
Lebedos, Magnesia ad Maeandrum, Smyrna and Alabanda. Very good selection
of Roman Imperial and Byzantine coins with some Roman republican cast
bronzes and silver pieces. Rest of catalogue extensive section of French
coins, Provincial, Royal and Modern, European and World coins. Along
with Vinchon sales, this is the best France could offer at the time.
