AE Antoninianus 2.90g. 18mm. 287-293 A.D. Camulodunum Mint? Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust, r. [IMP C CARAV]SIVS P AVG Pax standing l., holding branch and sceptre. Mintmark off flan. [P]AX AVG cf. RIC V 301 Olive-green patina. Good strike on very compact flan. Large Pax of crude style. Full legend and mint mark off flan. Light chipping of patina on edges. Difficult to properly attribute with the mintmark being off the flan. Camulodunum is likely, given the great output there, but could also be Londinium, based upon the similarity with examples that have degenerate disconnected As and Vs in their legends.
