Good very fine for issue, 3 small edge splits.


The sigla B K are known only on issues of Andronicus II and Andronicus III for the mint of Constantinople, however Simon Bendall has recently published two previously unknown types with the same set of sigla but attributed by style to the mint of Thessalonika ( see Spinks Numismatic circular April 2008 " A Thessalonican hyperpyron of Andronicus II and III ( ca 1320-1325) ? "

This sigla combined with additional pellet above star appears to be unpublished - recent 21st May 2008 with Simon Bendall.
