Kushano Sasanians, Peroz II Kushanshah, AD 325-330. AE Unit. 14.55mm, 2.09gm. Harid (Bactria) mint. "PYRUChYS MaLKA / BWRZaWNDY YZDTY". Crowned bust right / Half-length bust left arising from fire
altar, holding filleted diadem and sceptre. MK 1081, Cribb 26, Zeno #129079. Good very fine. Choice nice exmaple.
Note: The Kushano-sasanians were sasanian princes ruling
the old kushan lands in Bactria, the Kabul valley and Gandhara, as
sasanian vasalls. Some periods these kushan-shahs were more or less
independent, like this ruler, Hormazd I Kushanshah, ruling about AD
295-325 (or 270-295 according to Cribb). Mint for this type might be the
Kabul valley.
