Obverse  Scorpion (resembling Gbl's "insect" countermark #99)
Reverse  Buddhist solar wheel or dharmachakra.
Metrics  10x8mm, 0.40gm, 6h. (The standard Kashmir Smast unit is c. 0.80gm).
Mint  Associated with the Kashmir Smast complex in northern Pakistan.
Reference  Unpublished
Grade  Nearly Very Fine/ Very Good, dark brown patina with earthen overtones.
Comments  Extremely Rare, aparently unpublished and possibly unique. The scorpion on the obverse strongly resembles the insect countermark (Gbl 99) found on the Nezak trident-crown drachms. The solar wheel is also found on the Nezak coinage, appearing above the heads of the altar attendants on reverse. Solar wheels are also among Gbl's miscellaneous symbols (cf. #93).
