Obverse In Farsi the legend reads: � Shod Afta�b-O-Ma�h, zar-O-sim dar Jahan/az sekkee-ye Emam be-haqq Sahib-oz-Zamman �, meaning; �the Sun & the Moon became gold and silver/ from the rightful Imam (the 12th Shi�a leader) the owner of the time�..
Reverse mint inside cartouche with ruler's evocation "ya Karim" on top.
