R.T. Somaiya has suggested that the leaf is of a jujube tree, in reference to a sacred jujube tree growing within the compound of the Golden Temple, Sikhism's holiest shrine.
Herrli has identified coins of VS 1869 and 1871 as rare, 1870 as very rare. This is a CHOICE specimen with beautiful calligraphy and well centered. |
