Denomination : Silver tetradrachm.  Mint : Antioch (Seleucis & Pieria)

Date : regnal year-2 (B) = AD 70.

Reference : Prieur - 127 (group 7).

Size : 23.0 x 24.7 mm.  Weight : 15.19 grams.

Grade : VF but on a small thick flan with parts of the inscriptions off the flan.  This coin has never been cleaned, so has an almost intact hoard patination with some encrusting dirt.

Obverse : Bust of Vespasian right, with AUTOKRA KAICA OUECPACIANOU around.

Reverse : Eagle standing left on a club with rounded wings spread, a wreath in it's mouth, a small crescent between it's legs, a palm branch to the left, with ETOUC NEOU IEROU B around.  Only the very top of the club is visible.
