Obverse : Head of Hormazd right, wearing his distinctive eagle headdress, with an inscription naming him around. This is the type with the shortened obverse inscription interrupted below the bust.
Reverse : Fire altar flanked by two attendants, with the bust of Ahuramazda in the flames, with Sassanid inscriptions to the left and right which transliterate roughly to NURA ZI AURAMAZDI.
