Obverse: Macedonian shield in the center of which is the head of Artemis right, with a bow and quiver on her shoulder.

Reverse: Club with MAKEΔONΩN above and ΠPΩTHΣ below, with an AP monogram, all within an oak wreath with a thunderbolt at the wreath tie.

Most people show the coin as I have here with the club to the sides, and thunderbolt to the left.  Some show it with the wreath ties at the bottom.  There is no firm rule as to if the main inscription should go side to side or up and down.    However, monograms al nearly always show in an upright orientation, and one needs to show the club side to side to make the monogram orient correctly.    Thus I believe the side to side is correct for this type, but it seem strange to my eye to show it that way.
