: Price attributes this coin to Aigai in Macedonia, but Milavic in is article �Pankration and Greek Coins,� The Celator 13, 12 (December 1999), pp. 12-13, arguments in favor of retaining Noe�s attribution of this series to Sicyon.

Date : Price lists this type as having been struck from 332 to 328 BC by Antipater.

Reference : Price-187.

Size : 25.0 x 25.5 mm.  Weight : 17.09 grams.

Grade : XF but the obverse is off-center.   There is a minor scrape on the small pankratiast figure.  The reverse had very nice style.

Obverse : Head of Herakles right, wearing the lion's skin.

Reverse : Zeus seated left, holding a sceptre and eagle, with ALEXANDROU to the right and below his arm is a pankratiast standing with arms outstretched in guard position.
