Posthumous issue (struck after Alexanders death).

Denomination : Silver tetradrachm.  Mint : Babylon

Date : ca. 317 to 311 BC.

Reference : Price-3704.

Size : 25.0 x 26.4 mm. Weight : 16.99 grams.

Grade : gXF with a very attractive steel grey tone, and one of the highest relief Alexander tetradrachms I have seen (the coin is 6 mm thick at the point of highest relief). The only thing that might have improved it is if the flan had been about 1 mm broader to get full centering.

Obverse : Head of Herakles right, wearing the lion's skin.

Reverse : Zeus seated left, holding a sceptre and eagle with monogram in a wreath below his arm, with ALEXANDROU to the right, BASILEWS below, with an H below the throne.

You need to actually see this coin in the hand to understand the 3 dimentional nature the high relief gives it.
