Denomination : Bronze 1/4 unit.

Mint : Uncertain mint in Western Asia Minor.

Date : Posthumous issue ca. 323 to 320 BC (time of Philip III).

Reference : Price lists this type for the 1/2 unit (ca. 3.6 grams) as 2803.  There is no listing for this 1/4 unit at half that weight, although he does list a different quarter unit with a corn ear symbol as 2807. 

Size : 12.6 x 13.1 mm.  Weight : 1.89 grams.

Grade : gVF with a glossy very dark brown patina, but slightly weakly struck on the center of the shield. 

Obverse : 3/4 facing head of Herakles on a shield.   The face of Herakles is not fully struck up.

Reverse : Crested helmet flanked by a monogram and Caduceus.
