Artaxerxes II was also known as Ardashir II.  The kingdom of Persis was the last outpost of the old Persian Empire, which survived the conquest of Alexander the Great and later re-established itself as the Sassanids.

Size : 19.1 x 20.0 mm.  Weight : 3.93 grams.

Grade : gVF with minor areas of old toning on the reverse.  The surfaces have a slight coursness to them, but that is how this coin was made, and it is not corrosion.   These is a scrape on the reverse at 6 o'clock which runs along the centre of the fire altar.

Obverse : Crowned bust of Artaxerxes left, with symbols behind.

Reverse : The King standing left before a fire altar, with inscriptions around.
